Introduction

Axial/Mixed flow submersible water pump, which is a large flow low head water submersible pump type, the motor driving the pump is submerged type fully enclosed three phase asynchronous submersible motor. The aixal flow submersible water pump and motor shaft are integrated. Flexible installation, pumping clean water and sewage water, especially for rain flood water, large capacity, longer service life. Convenience in operation, it is not necessary to lubricate the rubber bearing of pump prior to turning on the machine, in addition, remote control and automatic control are realized.

Working Principle of Submersible Axial / Mixed Flow Pump
A submersible axial flow pump uses an axial flow impeller, where the liquid flows parallel to the pump shaft. This design allows the pump to deliver extremely high flow rates at relatively low heads.
A submersible mixed flow pump combines the characteristics of axial flow and centrifugal pumps. The liquid flows both axially and radially, enabling the pump to achieve a slightly higher head while maintaining large flow capacity.
Both pump types are driven by a submersible motor directly connected to the impeller, minimizing transmission losses and improving overall efficiency.

FAQ – Submersible Axial / Mixed Flow Pump

Q1: What is the difference between axial flow and mixed flow submersible pumps?
A: Axial flow pumps deliver very large flow at low head, while mixed flow pumps provide a balance between flow and head, suitable for medium head applications.

Q2: Are these pumps suitable for continuous operation?
A: Yes. The fully submerged motor design ensures effective cooling and stable long-term operation.

Q3: Can the pump be customized for specific projects?
A: Yes. Flow rate, head, materials, voltage, and installation type can all be customized based on project requirements.

Q4: What industries commonly use submersible axial flow pumps?
A: Agriculture, flood control, water treatment, drainage stations, and large-scale water transfer projects.
