SLAPK PUMP recently completed the production and performance testing of a customized submersible seawater pump designed for marine water transfer applications.
The pump was specially engineered to handle corrosive seawater conditions and deliver reliable long-term performance. To ensure excellent corrosion resistance, the pump bowl and impeller are manufactured from tin bronze, while the motor housing is constructed from Duplex 2205 stainless steel. This material combination provides outstanding durability in high-salinity environments and helps extend the service life of the equipment.
Designed with a DN200 discharge outlet, the pump delivers a flow rate of 500 m³/h and a head of 20 meters, making it suitable for large-volume seawater intake and transfer operations.
Before shipment, the pump underwent comprehensive factory testing, including flow verification, head testing, power consumption inspection, and operational stability evaluation. The testing results confirmed that all performance parameters met the project requirements.
Submersible seawater pumps are widely used in seawater intake systems, desalination plants, coastal industrial facilities, aquaculture projects, dock water supply systems, and other marine engineering applications where corrosion resistance is critical.
