For a recent groundwater project, the customer required a deep well pump combining high water capacity with improved corrosion resistance.
The selected solution was a 2205 duplex stainless steel submersible deep well pump, designed for a rated flow of 100 m³/h and a total head of 90 metres.
The pump is installed vertically inside the borehole and operates completely below the water level. This configuration allows groundwater to be lifted directly through the rising pipe without a conventional surface suction system.
For this project, 2205 duplex stainless steel was selected to provide higher strength and better corrosion resistance than ordinary stainless steel in demanding water conditions.
With a capacity of 100 m³/h, the pump is suitable for large groundwater supply, industrial water systems, agricultural irrigation and reservoir filling.
This project demonstrates how a 2205 deep well pump can combine reliable hydraulic performance with durable material construction for long-term submerged operation.
